Our Location

Castle Hill Lodge is located near the small village of Garston in Northern Southland. Queenstown is to the north and about a 40 minute drive while to the west is Te Anau and Milford Sound. We are ideally placed for these two major tourist destinations in the south with the added attraction of the world famous Mataura River, renowned for it's brown trout and superb fly fishing.

There are direct major airline flights from Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand and from Sydney, Australia into Queenstown. Smaller commuter airlines provide service from many New Zealand cities.
